7 Products To Transition Into Fall

Hello Friends!

It’s been while since I just wrote a fun little makeup post. Today I’m going to be sharing with you all some of my new favorites as well as products that I think are going to be great to transition into the fall and winter months!

Natasha Denona Sunrise Palette

I have been dying to get my hands on a Natasha Denona Palette for years now. Last year I bought one of their $20 minis and it was all I used for months. When I saw they released a palette that was $68 (which is still expensive but much more affordable than their $150 palettes) and that it had a ton of beautiful warm oranges, yellows and purples I knew i had to snatch it up. Let me just say this palette has become my new go-to. It’s surprisingly super wearable for day-to-day use and blends like you would expect Natasha Denona shadows to blend - effortlessly.

Natasha Denona Diamond & Blush Mini Duo

Again, we have ND. I swear, you just can’t go wrong with her products. Thankfully this one is more affordable. I love when big brands make mini versions and samples of their more popular items. This particular item is a duo from one of their larger palettes. I would say the highlighter in this duo is much more of a topper since it’s a touch more glittery than your average highlight - but not chunky whatsoever. If you decide you want to skip the highlight that day and want to opt for a more subtle glow, the blush gives a beautiful sheen to the skin! I put it on my cheeks and brush it along my temples and across my nose for a glowing, sun-kissed look! This is a product I think will be amazing for all seasons.

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize Creme Eyeshadow

Charlotte Tilbury is another brand that I’ve been dying to try out for years now. While I still love trying out eyeshadows and makeup in general, it’s nice to have products in your collection you know you can count on. This is definitely one of those products and, the best part is, it’s so easy to use! I have mine in the shade “Star Gold” which is a beautiful, deeper bronze shade. Just dip your finger in and blend it across your lid. Take a fluffy brush and blend out the edges or take a deeper chocolate color and smoke out your crease for a more sultry look. Either way, it’s such a beautiful product that makes it look like you put way more effort into your look than you actually did.

ColourPop Orange You Glad Palette

You’re going to see a lot of eyeshadow products in this post because I recently stocked up on a bunch of new palettes! This one is definitely on the more affordable side of things as it’s only $12. ColourPop has some amazing products for such affordable prices. I wanted to try out some of their new monochromatic eyeshadow palettes and hopefully recommend one for you for the fall season and now I can!

I personally love orange shades (and warm shades in general) since I have green eyes. The colors really make my eyes pop! If you’re not afraid of a little pop of color the beautiful orangey shades in this palette are beautiful, wearable and super easy to blend. They also have them in every color under the sun so if orange isn’t your vibe, check out one of their other monochrome palettes!

ColourPop Just A Tint Lip Crayons

Ok, so - holy C R A P I may have just found my favorite lip product of all time. I have always loved the idea of wearing darker colors for fall but liquid lipsticks are just so uncomfortable and they dry your lips out. Other lipsticks I’ve used slip around and when I eat it just turns into this huge mess. The Just A Tint crayons are such a game changer. I love how smooth and creamy they glide on. And, just as the name implies, it really feels like just a tint of color which I personally love. Think of it like a lip stain. It’s super easy to reapply, too! I love throwing a clear gloss on top just to be a bit extra but these can totally be worn on their own. I got the shades “Z Boys” and “Cherry Pickin” which are super similar but one is definitely a darker, brown nude.

E.L.F. Poreless Putty Primer

If you’ve been around my blog, Instagram, or YouTube, you’ll know that the Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer is like my holy grail primer. I’ve never had a primer make my skin look so smooth and healthy and prevent my skin from breaking out if I wear my make up more than 8 hours. A few months ago I saw E.L.F had released their own version but it was sold out everywhere and for good reason! It’s a pretty solid dupe for my favorite $52 primer. Don’t get me wrong, you definitely get what you pay for with the Tatcha one but if you’re looking for an affordable smoothing, pore-filling primer this is the best one.

Revlon Color Stay Foundation

This is a more recent “rediscovery.” I used to wear this foundation all the time in high school and I remember loving it! I wouldn’t budge even in the thick Florida humidity. When I moved to California that formula no longer worked for me but now that I’m back in a climate that can get humid, I picked it up! Let me tell you - I forgot how awesome this foundation is. It’s a great, medium coverage and won’t budge throughout the day.

I like to take extra precautions like using a primer and setting it with a bit of powder but it still has such a beautiful finish. I’ve definitely learned that on a day-to-day basis I like a little more of my skin showing and I like wearing makeup that’s a bit more minimal. However, if you wanted to build this foundation up to a fuller coverage you could totally do that too! It comes in a formula for both dry and oily skin! I use the dry skin formula and it gives me a dewier finish. The shade range is kinda crap but I managed to find my perfect fit. Darker-skinned girls will definitely have a struggle with this one.

That’s it! I’ve been using these products like crazy the last two months and I feel really confident recommending these to you. If you have any products you’ve been loving, feel free to drop them in the comments down below! I love you guys and thank you so much for continuing to read my blog.

See You Next Time
